This was one weird MSN conversation with someone who declined to be named… ", Talking about how we should have the ‘Singlish-Translated Bible’ (STB).. which would actually be quite blasphemous! Oh man… terrible..

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain
- Phil 1:21 NIV

Aiyar, i feel like getting over and done with life like now..
but since i gotta live it anyway, gotta live it for Christ!

- Phil 1:21 STB

Jesus: ‘Aiyar, why you all dunno how to pray? Just pray like that la! Papa, who stays in heaven one. you are very zai. please come faster and do whatever you want…’
- Matt 6:8-10 STB

Oh man… terrible..

What’s better to have in the middle of my prelims, than a nice cup of hot Camomile tea, and the best ever carrot cake by my Aunt (mum’s friend)? Nice! If I had a camera, I’ll surely capture this moment (and the cake of course!)! Haha (:

Random: A classmate said to me today: Mag ah, you’re doing every weird thing during the prelims. Just yesterday, I had a fun 1 hour all by myself and the grand piano in Lecture Theatre 2 after Econs paper (: It was nice and quiet. Oh no… shldn’t I be working harder?? Sigh.

Well, as some of you guys know, I’ve been, for a month now, attending Church of Our Saviour (COOS) youth service on Saturday evenings. I’ve been very blessed, I must say. Honestly, I really wasn’t intending to go there a third of fourth time, just that the 1st week there, the youth pastor, Jennifer Heng had started a sermon series on ‘Worship’. Yup, I thought it was quite appropriate especially this time when I’ve been thinking a lot about worship/worship team in general.

Today was the 4th and last of the worship series and hopefully I’ll blog more about the contents specifically soon enough! (: I was especially blessed today in that the many many questions that have been coming up both for myself and others were practically mostly addressed. Wouldn’t say that they were all answered, but thsi is a pretty good start.. But for today, the first thing that I’d taken back from Ps Jenny (a worship pastor herself) would be:

The worship team isn’t there to make you worship, they’re just there to encourage you to worship. Worship is your personal response to God; the worship team can’t do that for you! You may have been in a worship session with an anointed worship leader - yet, that does not mean you have worshipped.

Yup! Just a thought.. and as a worship team member myself, I was greatly encouraged to hear that from a worship pastor herself! (: Of course, she’s not implying that the worship team then can relax and.. you know? Heh!

I’ll leave the details for later… For now, good day!
