You called me out of death, You called me into life
I was under Your wrath, now through the cross reconciled…

~ Jeremy Riddle

Wow… this is something random, but as I am here at Coffee Bean sitting and just … taking a break from the cares of this world which is tearing me apart greatly at this point. I feel tt people need moments like these to stop and process whatever’s been going on.. Sometimes our bodies just speed way ahead of our hearts and souls…SIgh… just stop for a bit… But sadly, it’s so rare.. People are so busy… rushing through their lives.. Goodness, I don’t know what we are rushing for sometimes… Rushing to get to heaven? Nah… totally not.. then why the rush?

Anyway, you know how I am the kind of person who’s very pragmatic especially when it comes to learning… Study something only if it makes sense to me.. Like Literature and History never ever makes any bit of sense.. And I never agreed why we had to study Physics.. I mean, what’s it about the Force=Mass x Acc man! How does it relate to my daily living??

Now, somehow, I realise that there’s just so much more to everything!! I actually really want to know why things are a certain way.. rather than just ignoring it totally as a waste of time. Wow. I mean, why do people behave in a certain manner? Even in the complicated world of calculus and biology… wow God created them all.. It’s cool to know my God is that clever! Look at that tree outside your window… God created it! I know I sound rather silly, but little things around us, we hardly ever realise God’s hand in it… much less the greater things we go through..

Just a thought…

What joy is found, beholding Your beauty…
Oh how lovely, is the King in all His glory
Is the Christ who is Holy
Who was, and who is….

Ramblings 10:17 am

Thanks band, for all those who played a part in forming the flesh of the new song I wrote… I think it’s really not me who wrote it, cos as I ‘ve shared, it all just came at once, the inspiration, couldn’t have been me.. I mean, I was just sitting at DOME one Sunday morning at Park Mall after the 1st service, feeling really Jaded… This was right after Worship Central Conference at Faith MC.

And these words were ringing in my head: Write songs for your church. That’s the primary purpose! If the song stays within the church, so be it!

SO there I was thinking… This talk about revival in YM… but how? What happened next, I took out my trustee notebook, started writing words and numbers to fit the words… Amazing. Never been possible. (Sorry, i don’t mean the song I wrote was great or anything :S but really I never was this close to writing a proper song no matter how much i tried!!)

If we get our purpose right, wow… God’s grace overflows! The title of the song was chosen minutes before I gave out chord sheets to the band on friday to learn.. It was such an amazing thing, how the title got chosen as i shared! And Sandy had a big part to play in this!! Hah!

Philippians 4:13 (G)

Verse 1
From that cross now I am
Forgiven and a free man

Now Christ is living in me
I stand with power, hope and glory!

Verse 2
Standing here we proclaim
His promise will always remain
No work of His shall ever cease
We’ve got His power, hope and glory!

Chorus
I’m gonna live out, live out
With Christ in me!
I’m gonna shout out, shout out
Words of victory!
I’m gonna stand up, stand up
And rise in faith!
We live to worship You!
We live to worship You!

And the next song, which was introduced during Communion, written there, at the same time!

AS WE WORSHIP [Bb - C]

Verse
We sing to you, a new song
Join with the heavens in worship all day long
I will proclaim, your salvation
Declare Your glory, to the nations

Pre-Chorus
Splendour and majesty surrounds You
Pow’r and all glory, belongs to You

Chorus
As we worship, renew our lives
As we worship, restore our souls
As we worship, Lord reveal to us
Your Holiness

This is based on Ps 96.

"A new song a new song" - This was ringing in my head all the time as I wrote! Yea, someone once said where revival comes, there’ll be new songs just flowing out, cos that’s the true cry of the hearts of the people involved in the revival!! That, i believe!

Friends, I encourage you, if you’ve got any thing you’d like to share, be it a full song or just words without the lyrics, just do it. I believe it’s time for that! ", A good way to start, is to check your motive. Remember, if the song stays within the church, so be it! It’s meant to be for the your church! ",

Checking out,

Mag ",

PS All songs subject to change! haha
