Tempered Radical / Perfect Micr0-Poached Egg
Tempered Radical… If you want to push important cultural changes without damaging (your career), step softly.
Tempered radicals bear no banners; they sound no trumpets. Their ends are sweeping, but their means are mundane. They are firm in their commitments, yet flexible in the ways they fulfill them. Their actions may be small but can spread like a virus. They yearn for rapid change but trust in patience. They often work individually yet pull people together. Instead of stridently pressing their agendas, they start conversations. Rather than battling powerful foes, they seek powerful friends. And in the face of setbacks, they keep going. To do all this, tempered radicals understand revolutionary change for what it is - a phenomenon that can occur suddenly but more often than not requires time, commitment, and the patience to endure.
Debra Meyerson (2001). Radical Change, the Quiet Way
Taken from one of my readings in my ‘Management and Organisation’ class… I thought: This sounds like someone! Doesn’t it? (: (One of the rare interesting things of Biz school, much of which I often can’t make sense of.) Just a thought: How can we be radical in our faith…. in the world? In school? The workplace?
A SINGLE Perfectly Round Micro-Poached Egg
Check out that sweat man! Tt’s my sea salt sweatin it out for me! Haha! ", Look at the SMOOTH edges! This is revolutionary discovery…. You can’t not try it! haha!
1. Crack ONE egg into chinese rice bowl (absolutely nothing else will go). Gives egg the perfect depth for even-cooking and roundness for great… pictures! hah!
2. Cover fully with a plate
3. Microwave on med-high for 40 seconds exactly. Ten seconds more and it’ll give a different story altogether. Depends on your machine; you’ll have to experiment a few times to make it perfect!
3. Spoon egg onto the plate, sprinkle some cracked pepper and sea salt
4. serve/eat IMMEDIATELY… Trust me, the residual heat will cook the egg further!
5. You have enjoyed a semi-cooked delicate whites, runny-yolked, healthy, poached and half-boiled-like egg. Perfection in one minute. How cool is that? Feel pro for that 40 seconds of cooking, and 3 seconds of slurping eggyness.
NB: Cooking two or more eggs at a go has a different formula. Then again, I don’t mind repeating this process to cook a second or third egg!

Mm…
Blessed day y’all! ",
