Ramblings | Festive | Good Eats!!December 30, 2008 1:41 pm

It’s time to think about the past year, have a good undisturbed day to sit by the window, go through every single moment with you and God. (: Wished we all could have such time and privilege when you have work, and the thought of school? Ministry? Festive gatherings? Guess it’s all about discipline!

Anyway, this morning… I had planned to wake up early take a random bus and sit at some random place the whole day until it’s time for Watchinight Rehearsal. BUT, mag woke up late and changed her plan! SInce there was a bagful of cranberries…

Cranberry, Ginger Spicy Preserve
So easy to make! Bring to boil loads of Cranberries, enough sugar to almost cover the berries, equal parts water, a handful ginger strips. Boil for about 10-15? minutes until berries burst and you get a satisfactory colour+smell (you can poke the berries too haha), add cinnamon and nutmeg towards the end. Leave to cool until thick! Smear on toast like this! (:

Tht was breakfast!

This was lunch… Aunty Angelina’s Pumpkin Cake… Mm..

Too much eating this season for everyone, BBQs and all. Okay, I need something healthy like SALAD now… Haha! Don’t you?

Wesley Methodist YOUTH MINISTRY CAMP 2008

It blows my mind to think that a hall full of 300 people would literally kneel down before the KING OF GLORY.Just take a look! All the people covered in RED - the blood represented, how significant was that! not that we are worshiping that wooden thing there, but doesn’t that just remind you of the Work done… makes you just wanna fall down?

Oh, see from His hands, His head, His feet.
Sorrow and love flow mingled down.
Did e’er such love and sorrow meet?
Nor thorns compose so rich a crown…

What a breathtaking sight! People humbled and knelt.. ALL…

I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him. Ecc 3:14

I’m curious! What’s in store?

Tks guys for a great retreat (:

We are called to build a worshipping kingdom. Not that people may leave (Sunday morning) wanting to that again! BUT wanting to live a worshipping life.

Will that be our prayer today?

Read bits of my new book - a gift from Abi! Worship Matters by Bob Kauflin
About being Hopeless in ourselves, but hopeful in Christ Alone…yet you know, there’s a really thin line between feeling inadequte and being adequate!
This other pastor below puts it really well, when Bob told him that he feels really inadequate, hopeless, being a worship leader, pastor etc.

If were really hopeless, you’d stop trusting in yourself and what you can do and start trusting in what Jesus accomplished for you at the cross….

Bits of Sarimbun Scout’s Camp (:
